PROJECT
The redesign of DuPont’s global marketing platform was essentially a 3-year digital transformation for the company. It would require an extensive re-architecture supporting more than 25,000 products and tens of thousands of pages of deep content for desktop, tablet and mobile.
APPROACH
Our team was highly collaborative, bringing multiple perspectives to each stage of the project (“Project Phoenix”). With inputs from content and competitive audits, ethnography, business requirements, and SEO, a cross-disciplinary team of content strategy, information architecture, user experience, and creative leads developed an integrated, overarching UX Strategy. This served as a foundation for subsequent site maps, functional specifications, content model, and creative development.
OUTCOME
A comprehensive system of flexible templates accommodated the global content needs of DuPont’s 14 business units and corporate initiatives, in 17 languages across 20+ country sites.
