PROJECT

Leverage client references to highlight IBM MobileFirst’s depth of expertise and breadth of mobile solutions.

APPROACH

Redefine IBM’s static case study as a interactive, mobile-optimized narrative, allowing users to explore content based on their organizational role, deepening user engagement through interactions with high value, ungated content. The expanded content framework includes:

  • Original video, contextually placed.

  • An interactive project timeline, with discrete milestones delineating IBM, Ottawa Hospital, and collaborative efforts.

  • “What Next” overview highlighting subsequent goals and underscoring the ongoing relationship.

  • Summary “Key Learnings.”

  • Opportunity throughout to change roles for insights to C-suite colleagues/team members.

In addition to editorial strategy and collaborating on the development of wireframes, I developed:

  • Discussion guides for stakeholder interviews.

  • Interactive Case Study Guidelines for development of this new model.

OUTCOME

  • New format facilitated 86% increase in user engagement.

  • Quickly became a template for IBM case studies, adopted and utilized by other IBM business units.
